About The Show

Our Philosophy

America has given more people the opportunity to create the life they desire than any other nation in history. The principles that have made this country great need to be valiantly defended. The forces that seek to compromise our greatness for personal interest need to be loudly decried. The best defense is an educated and informed citizenry who will seek out and act on the truth.

Our Mission:

Mark Maxon

Mark Maxon

To promote effective and respectful discussion and understanding of important issues from diverse perspectives, and active participation in the political and economic process, by challenging the standard of common thought in a relentless pursuit of the truth.

I believe in personal responsibility and that each right bears an inherent duty. I believe that government should focus on only those problems individuals, families, and the marketplace can’t solve for themselves, and solve them, not institutionalize and perpetuate them. I believe that problems are best left to be solved at the lowest appropriate level. I believe that the family is the basic building block of the nation and forces that are destructive to the family will eventually destroy a nation. I believe that the purpose of a society is to raise a generation to follow that is more numerous, more healthy, more wealthy, more happy, and more responsible with their stewardship. I believe that initiative, excellence and hard work should be rewarded and that each should enjoy the fruits of their labor. I believe that sharing those fruits with those less fortunate should be an act of good will and personal duty and not an act of congress.

I believe that freedom can be messy, ugly, and dangerous because it allows individuals to make foolish, selfish, and even evil choices. But man flourishes best in a free society. Deal with it. I believe that a citizen’s

responsibilities just BEGIN with voting, and that ignorance is no excuse. Each citizen should be a statesman in their own sphere of influence. I believe that the constitution of the United States is a timeless document and the adherence to its principles is our only hope for surviving as a nation. I believe that there is a distinction between matters of eternal principle and popular preference and that the two should not be confused. I think America has provided more peace, and prosperity to more people than any nation in the history of the world. I believe it is worth saving. I believe that the principles of individual liberty are worth working for, and if necessary, fighting and dying for. I believe we “confirm our soul in self control, our liberty in law.”

From the cowardice that dares not face the truth, from the laziness content with half-truth, from the arrogance that thinks it knows all the truth, O God of Truth, deliver us. – Traditional Kenyan Prayer
